Callelongue : a small fishing port at the end of the world

There is no calanque more typical than Callelongue cove !
First creek in the Marseilleveyre massif, this Provencal creek is located after the Port of Pointe Rouge and the very "village des Goudes". Known as the "end of the world Marseille", this creek is home to a small fishing port after which the road ends and where begins the National Park of Calanques. It is one of the creeks where thousands of visitors come from all over France every year.

Ultra-charming, the Callelongue cove reflects all the charm of the Phocaean city. Tour around a small fishing port, it is the latter who is the animation of this little corner of Marseille installed at the end of the 8th district. All around, fishing huts bring a real picturesque side.
Nicknamed "the end of the world", Callelongue cove is a dead end. Once arrived, you have to take the hiking trails to reach other intimate coves a little further hidden in the massif.
Another particularity, Callelongue is the only creeks which does not have a beach. To swim, you have to either go through the rocks on foot or get wet in the creek aboard a boat.
